Customertimes is looking for hands-on QA Engineer focused on data, BI, and API testing who will be responsible for validating end‑to‑end data flows from source to analytics and ensuring high-quality, production-ready data products.

Engagement Details:

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 3-month initial engagement with expected extension

Key Responsibilities

• Validate data using SQL queries.
• Compare data between systems (source vs target).
• Test BI dashboards and reports (metrics, filters, totals).
• Perform API testing (verify responses and data mapping).
• Create test cases and document findings.
• Work with data and product teams to clarify requirements.

Requirements:

• Strong SQL (joins, aggregations).
• Experience testing reports (Power BI or similar).
• API testing experience (Postman or similar).
• Experience working with databases.
• Jira experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with any data warehouse platform.
• Understanding of ETL basics.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience validating large datasets.
• Exposure to data migration or integration projects.
• Basic understanding of performance validation for data queries.
